Plasma cutting machine

Two main axes X and Y move the cutting head on the working plane. A Z-axis sets the cutting distance to the working piece and a C-axis adjusts the plasma jet tangentially to the programmed contour.

With the X20c series, B&R is setting new standards for protection against harsh environmental conditions. These variants of the modular X20 distributed controller and I/O product line are protected against condensation and corrosive gases by a coating on the electronics module.
Safety technology
Safety related parts used in control system help to reduce risks or personal injury and machine damage. With the SafeDESIGNER development tool, B&R provides an integrated safety tool for programming of safety-related functions within the Automation Studio. Modeling and simulation
B&R supports model-based development at whatever level of detail it is implemented – with modeling, simulation and virtual commissioning woven into its entire product portfolio. At the first level, Automation Studio supports simulation of all B&R hardware components with Automation Runtime Simulation (ARsim) and ACOPOS simulation. At the level of components and machines, B&R supports a variety of simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB® /Simulink® and MapleSim for dynamic modeling of machines and machine components.
